Future Students

First Year

So you’ve got an offer to study Medicine at UNSW. Congratulations!
Now go ahead and accept your offer (see instructions below) and let the good times begin.
You’ve got a lot to look forward to, including medcamp and umbilical, and of course, studying med!

Accepting your Offer

  • Create your UniPass
  • Sign onto myUNSW
  • Accept your offer, create your zPass and enrol online
  • Collect your Student ID card at FMassist (requires photo identification)

The Course

In the first year of your six year degree, you will undertake four courses, one in each teaching period.
In 2011, the courses in the first year will be:

  • TP1: MFAC 1501 Foundations
  • TP2: MFAC 1521 Beginnings, Growth and Development A
  • TP3: MFAC 1523 Health Maintenance A
  • TP4: MFAC 1526 Ageing and Endings B

Note that the courses in TP3 and TP4 will be run with your fellow second years.

At this point in time, you will only be able to enrol for the first two teaching periods/ first semester – that is, enrol for MFAC1501 and MFAC1521. This can be done through my.unsw.edu.au. For more information about enrolment, click here.
