2012 SB Dowton Medical Leadership Seminar – get informed, inspired, connected.
This year’s medical leadership event (on Saturday, August 11) will be a unique opportunity for students across all years to gain the skills and knowledge required to be a leader throughout their career as a student and health practitioner. It will broaden perspectives on local and global advocacy, professionalism and much more through a series of interactive workshops and keynote presentations.
Included in the presentation line-up of Australian medical leaders and public figures are: Dr Michael Gliksman (previous Vice President of AMA NSW), Dr Brindha Shivalingam (neurosurgeon at RPA) and Bill Bowtell (Officer of the Order of Australia, Director of the Lowy Institute HIV/AIDS project).
Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided during the event (all covered by a small cost). The seminar application form is below – get in ASAP, registration is competitive each year. The seminar is open to all Australian medical students.
Get ready to be inspired.
