Medical Students’ Aid Project

  • MSAP_logo
  • The Medical Students’ Aid Project is a student-run charity and your global health group at UNSW. As a charity, we send donated equipment to hospitals in developing countries with our 5th year students doing their elective placements. We also run events throughout the year to increase awareness about important global health issues and to fundraise for the work we do. Some of our events include birthing kit packing nights, lectures and movie screenings, which are definitely not to be missed!.

NSW Medical Students Council

  • Since its formation in 2008 the New South Wales Medical Students’ Council has represented the interests of medical students in metropolitan, rural and remote areas across the state. With seven medical schools New South Wales produces more medical graduates than any other state or territory in Australia. Our graduates work in more hospitals and serve a larger population than anywhere else in the country.

Our Council is comprised of student representatives from every medical school in New South Wales. As an Executive we are committed to bringing the medical students of NSW together and representing their interests with key stakeholders in the healthcare system.

We are looking forward to developing the scope of the New South Wales Medical Students’ Council in 2014 and we hope to see you at one of our events soon! Find out more at
